Vector AI Summit & Career Fair Bingo contest* rules

 

Contest eligibility:

No purchase necessary to participate. Only individuals registered for both Vector’s AI Summit and Career Fair 2022 are eligible to win. Individuals must complete each of the following three tasks to be eligible to win:

Conditions to satisfy before participants can accept a prize:

The winner needs to correctly answer a skill-testing question before a prize can be awarded.

Privacy notice:

Personal data will be collected and stored in accordance with Vector’s privacy policies found at vectorinstitute.ai/about.

Precise contest times (to the second), dates, and duration:

Contest starts 10:00 AM EST on September 22, 2022 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on September 30, 2022.

Circumstances, time, and place of winner selection:

One winner will be randomly drawn from an eligible winners list on October 3, 2022. Winner will be notified on October 3, 2022.

How alternate winners will be selected:

If the Winner does not respond to Vector’s communications by October 10, 2022 an alternative winner will be selected by random draw from the pool of eligible participants.

Liability limitations and releases:

Without limitation, the Vector Institute will not be liable for any failure of the website during the contest; for an technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any Entry to be received by Vector for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or any combination of the above. Further, Vector will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the contest.

*The Vector Institute reserves the right to cancel, suspend, withdraw or amend this contest in any way, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Vector Institute that interferes with the proper conduct of this contest as contemplated by these contest Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made,The Vector Institute reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

Vector’s Virtual Career Fair contest* rules

Contest eligibility:

No purchase necessary to participate. Individuals registered for the Vector Virtual Career Fair on September 23, 2022 are eligible to win. To be entered to win, individuals must:

  • get the most leaderboard points by completing the tasks displayed on Airmeet’s leaderboard
  • Create a Talent Hub profile 
  • Upload a resume by September 30th 2022

Conditions to satisfy before participants can win:

Winners needs to correctly answering a skill-testing question before a prize can be awarded

Social media post rules:

By entering the contest and submitting a Tweet, each entrant: 

(i) without limiting the Twitter Terms of Service grants to the Vector Institute, in perpetuity, a non-exclusive license to publish, display, reproduce, modify, edit or otherwise use his/her Tweet, in whole or in part, for advertising or promoting the Contest or for any other reason; 

(iii) agrees to release and hold harmless the contest parties and each of their respective agents, employees, directors, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trade-mark infringement or any other intellectual property related cause of action that relate in any way to the Tweet. For greater certainty and the avoidance of any doubt, the Vector Institute reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and at any time, to modify, edit or disqualify any Tweet if a complaint is received with respect to the Tweet, or for any other reason. If such an action is necessary at any point, then Vector reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify the Tweet (and corresponding entry) and/or the associated entrant.
