The Climate Change and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) imperative represent intricate, complex and dynamic global challenges, augmenting the need for Artificial Intelligence (AI) to play a crucial role in steering towards a sustainable future. AI holds the potential to enhance accountability across all industries by championing their ESG and sustainability strategies. Organizations stand to gain significant advantages by leveraging AI methodologies towards various challenges ranging from quantifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, conducting climate modeling, to predicting environmental risk.

Furthermore, this wealth of data and knowledge can serve as a foundation for actionable measures aimed at reducing impacts of climate change. With the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, or Conference of the Parties (COP 28) scheduled for the month of November, this Expert Roundtable will focus on how best AI techniques can be deployed to address climate change and ESG concerns.
