Milad Alucozai
Startup Mentor | Serial Entrepreneur | AI Ambassador | Scientist
I invest in early-stage life sciences, healthcare, and deep tech companies. I am a Venture Partner at Entrepreneur First, a global fund that has built 300+ companies with a combined valuation of over $2 billion.
I also serve as a startup mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab. My career began as a bench scientist working in translational neuroscience and multiphysics labs. I transitioned into becoming a founder and part of the founding team of three different healthcare and life sciences startups. While at Accenture, I led teams of data scientists and engineers to build AI tools and services for large pha
rmaceutical companies and hospital networks. I’m currently the CBO at Mekonos, a San Francisco based company building a platform for cell delivery supporting the future of cell and gene therapies.
My career spans across North America and Europe helping startups, nonprofits, and large organizations build products customers love and helping people unlock their potential and truly thrive. As a National Science Foundation Scholar and Macklin Fellow at Johns Hopkins Medicine, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Neuroscience from Purdue University’s Honors Program. As a George J. Mitchell Scholar, I completed graduate school in Immunology & Public Health.
