Public Sector AI Adoption

Vector Institute partners with public sector organizations and governments to advance responsible AI adoption that serves Canadians. Through strategic collaboration, we help leaders harness artificial intelligence to improve citizen services, enhance service delivery, and strengthen Canada’s position in the global AI landscape.

Working alongside our government funders, the Government of Canada and Government of Ontario, Vector has helped establish Ontario’s AI ecosystem as “one of the most ambitious efforts in North America” according to the Brookings Institution.

We have a lot to be proud of, and we need to work together to continue the mission of the Pan-Canadian Artificial Intelligence Strategy to grow AI research, innovation, and talent for the benefit of all Canadians.

The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne

Minister of Finance and National Revenue

I’m optimistic about Ontario’s future because of the strength and ingenuity and ambition of partners like the Vector Institute.

The Honourable Peter Bethlenfalvy
