Apply to Vector’s Research Internship Program

Become part of a dynamic and growing AI ecosystem through Vector’s AI internship program. Explore theoretical or applied research areas with leading machine learning researchers. To join the Vector Institute as a research intern, you must be supervised by a Vector Faculty Member.

The Vector Institute’s research internship program is supported by funding made available through the federal Pan-Canadian AI Strategy. As a federally funded program, Vector will not consider applications from students who are either currently enrolled at or affiliated with a Named Research Organization under the federal Policy on Sensitive Technology Research and Affiliations of Concern.

Please note applications for:

Fall 2026 Internships are due on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 1 PM ET
Winter 2027 Internships are due on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 1 PM ET
