Student Call for Participation (CfP)/ Info Session – MLA C 13

October 2 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Are you a graduate student or recent graduate who graduated no earlier than January 2026 interested in applying your AI skills to real-world projects? The FastLane Machine Learning Associates (MLA) Program – Cohort 13 (Winter 2027) is now open for applications!

Running from mid-January to early May, this 4-month paid opportunity connects participants with innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Canada to help them build AI-powered solutions using cutting-edge methods.

The cohort will be focused on Generative AI and Agentic AI. Through this program, you’ll gain hands-on experience exploring and developing AI solutions in these areas, applying them to real-world industry challenges while being supported by technical mentors and project delivery experts from the Vector Institute.

Program Benefits:

  • Be part of a select cohort of Machine Learning Associates (MLAs) and join a structured AI-centric learning program to acquire technical skills and tools and deliver business value.
  • Discover whether AI is the right tool for an SME and deliver a proof of concept to address their use case.
  • Increase your employability by getting unique access to Vector’s technical and project management expertise and resources.
  • Engage with like-minded individuals in a collaborative setting and expand your network within the AI ecosystem.

Disclaimer: This event is open to Students and Recent Graduates from Canadian institutions (graduation date: January 2026 or later). Please contact mla.winter@vectorinstitute.ai with any questions.
