Nomination Templates
The nomination period for the Vector Scholarship in AI 2025 – 2026 cycle is now open. The deadline for programs to submit all nominations to Vector Institute is March 20, 2025 at 4 PM, EST.
Please note that university program offices may have internal submission deadlines for documentation earlier than March 20.
We recommend that referees review the CRC’s Guidelines for Limiting Unconscious Bias when completing the written component of the Referee Report”.
Nomination package requirements
Criteria for assessment 2025 – 26
In addition to the required CV and transcripts (more detail here), nomination packages must include the following:
Two referee forms, at least one of which is academic
Completed Referee Forms should be sent by the referee directly to the nominating program and not to the student.
250-word statement
A 250-word statement outlining their reason for pursuing a master’s in AI, relevant AI-related experience, and career aspirations;

Self-Identification Questionnaire
If not applying to a Vector-recognized program
If the nomination is not to a Vector-recognized program, an Approved Study Plan including a course list and a description of thesis/capstone project.
