Anne Martel is a Professor in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, and a Senior Scientist and Tory Family Chair in Oncology at Sunnybrook Research Institute. Her research program is focused on the use of AI in medicine to support personalized medicine. Her lab has a particular interest in the development of models that combine radiology and digital pathology images with clincial and genomics information. She is also very interested in translational research and in 2006 she co-founded Pathcore (Toronto, ON), a software company that provides image management solutions for digital pathology.
