Roxana Sultan

Chief Partnerships Officer

Roxana Sultan serves as the Vector Institute’s Chief Partnerships Officer, Broader Public Sector (BPS). She is responsible for the establishment, growth, and maintenance of high-impact partnerships within Canada’s BPS, enabling the Vector Institute to meet its mandate of driving excellence and leadership in Canada’s knowledge, creation, and use of AI to foster economic growth and improve the lives of Canadians.

Roxana has previously held the positions of Chief Data Officer and Vice President, Health at Vector, bringing over 20 years of health sector leadership to these roles. Roxana has led transformative initiatives across leading Canadian institutions, including the University Health Network, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Cancer Care Ontario (now Ontario Health), and the Hospital for Sick Children.

Roxana holds a Master of Health Science from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, where she also completed undergraduate and graduate studies in Molecular and Medical Genetics. Additionally, Roxana holds an Adjunct Professor appointment with the University of Toronto in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, where she teaches at the graduate level on the topics of intelligent medicine and machine learning.
