Tracy Jenkin is an Associate Professor at Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, an Affiliate Member of Ingenuity Labs Research Institute, and a Faculty Affiliate of the Vector Institute. Her research examines human–AI collaboration and its impact on decision-making, with a focus on large language models, decision biases, and AI explanations. She has also published on analytics, natural language processing, environmental sustainability and technology (Green IT), technical project management, and project alignment. Her work appears in top journals such as Business and Society, The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Information and Organization, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Information Technology, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and MIS Quarterly.
Tracy received her PhD in Management (MIS), with a minor in Computer Science, from Queen’s University. Prior to entering academia, she spent a decade in the IT and software industry, working with organizations such as Accenture, Dell, and startup Trilogy Software, across sectors including telecom, financial services, high tech, and commodity chemicals.
