Student Call for Participation Information Session: Fastlane MLA Winter 2026 Cohort

Are you a graduate student or recent graduate interested in applying your AI skills to real-world projects? The FastLane Machine Learning Associates (MLA) Program – Cohort 10 (Winter 2026) is now open for applications!

This 4-month paid opportunity connects participants with innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Canada to help them build AI-powered solutions using cutting-edge methods in Generative AI and Agentic AI.

Through this program, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on projects such as autonomous AI agents, tool-using LLMs, and memory-enabled reasoning systems — all while being supported by technical mentors and project delivery experts from the Vector Institute.

Our upcoming cohort will focus on Generative AI and Agentic AI.

To qualify for this opportunity, you must:

  • You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 1 year) from an AI-related graduate program, or are a researcher working with Vector Faculty.

You are legally eligible to work in Canada and will reside in Canada for the full duration of the program.

You have hands-on experience with machine learning in Python; implementation experience is a strong asset.

You graduated no earlier than January 2025.
