Jonathan Kelly is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies, where his group carries out research at the nexus of robotic sensing, planning, and control. He holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Collaborative Robotics. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his PhD from the University of Southern California in 2011. His research interests include robotic manipulation, robot learning, and trustworthy AI systems.
