Saeed Ghadimi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering with cross-appointment at the Cheriton School of Computer Science of the University of Waterloo. He is also a Faculty Affiliate of the Vector Institute and a member of Centre for Computational Mathematics at UWaterloo. Before joining UWaterloo, he was an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton University. He obtained his PhD in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at the University of Florida and received his B.Sc. from the ISE Department of Sharif University of Technology.
His research is mainly focused on decision making under uncertainty and on the intersection of optimization and machine learning.
