William Cunningham received his PhD in social and cognitive neuroscience from Yale in 2003 and joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto in 2004. His socialAI research group SocialAI develops multi-agent neural network models grounded in cutting-edge approaches from neuroscience, psychology, sociology, history, and cultural anthropology. The research group aims to illuminate the processes that enable people to navigate fundamental aspects of cooperation and competition within and between social groups
