Yuntian Deng is an assistant professor at the University of Waterloo, a visiting professor at NVIDIA under the supervision of Prof. Yejin Choi, and an associate at Harvard University. He was previously a postdoc at AI2, also advised by Prof. Choi. He received his PhD from Harvard University under the supervision of Prof. Alexander Rush and Prof. Stuart Shieber. His research focuses on natural language processing and machine learning. His recent works include WildChat and implicit chain-of-thought reasoning. He is also a key contributor to OpenNMT, steganography.live, openaiwatch.com, latex-to-image, and image-to-latex.
